CytoCure DT8

CytoCure DT8 is a hydrophobic conformal coating. CytoCure has excellent resistance to water-vapor, moisture, gasses, solvents, and abrasion. CytoCure can be applied by dipping, brushing, and wiping. When well-cured, contact angles to water greater than 100° and roll-off angles of less than 5° can be achieved. CytoCure is omniphobic. CytoCure forms a hard shell around devices that prevents water, water-vapor, and pollutant ingress and prevents corrosion. CytoCure is UV-light resistant and lasts 3 to 5 years in extreme sunlight.

Size: 100 grams (125 ml bottle)
Application method: Wipe, brush, spray, or dip. To brush-on or wipe-on a thin layer, 10 drops of CytoCure can be applied to the end of a brush and applied onto the substrate in a crosshatch pattern. About 50-100 square feet of surface area can be coated with 125 ml of CytoCure.
Curing: Room temperature 5 hours (or heat with hair dryer for 5 minutes)
Color: Transparent
Water contact angle: over 100° (options to increase contact angle are available)
