FluoroCoat thixotropic inks are screen printable coatings currently used in manufacturing hydrophobic and super-hydrophobic diagnostic microscopy slides and microarray plates. The MH-series inks are heat-curable, super-hydrophobic and solvent resistant. The S-series is heat-curable, smooth, hydrophobic and oleophobic. U-series refers to UV-curable, smooth, hydrophobic and oleophobic inks. FluoroCoat inks are available in many rich colors.

MH-series Ink

PFC MH-Series super-hydrophobic screen printing inks are translucent or pigmented. PFC S-Series hydrophobic screen printing inks are translucent or pigmented. U-series Ink

PFC U-series inks are colorless, translucent or pigmented. U-series inks are based on FluorAcryl 6298 which is a hex-functional perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oligomer with exceptional hardness, toughness, chemical resistance, transparency, refractive index, lubricity, hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. Films are also long-lasting, anti-fingerprint and anti-fouling.

Thin films cure in 1 minute under UV light, have water contact angles of approximately 100°, mineral oil contact angles of approximately 80° and have great solvent resistance.
