FluoroSyl is a Cytonix trademark for mono-functional and poly-functional fluorosilanes
that may be selected to provide lubricity, surface protection or hydrophobicity to glass and
other oxide surfaces. Fluorinated adhesion promoters strengthen the bond between
oxide substrates and fluoropolymers such as Teflon and polyfluoroalkyls.
