Clear
FluoroPel polymer solutions dry to oleophobic, hydrophobic,
transparent films providing repellency to
water, paints, photoresists, organic solvents and non-fluorinated oils,
corrosion resistance, and prolonged use at temperatures up to 200
degrees C. Uses include coating laboratory vessels, microfluidic
devices, printed circuit boards, ball-grit arrays, MR
heads, micro motors, MEMS, and hard disk drive
components. FDA approved for medical devices.
Clear
FluoroPel co-polymer solutions are fluorochemical coatings in
hydrofluoroether or
polychlorotrifluoroethylene solvent. Solvents are nonflammable, have
low toxicity and have minimal environmental impact. Co-polymer films
have improved adhesion to selected substrates, modified mechanical
properties, and the functional co-polymers have hydroxy, epoxy and
silane reactivity. Uses
include coating optical components, electrowetting
devices, and ink jet print heads.
Superhydrophobic
FluoroPel
suspensions are selected clear FluoroPel
co-polymer solutions containing dispersions of superhydrophobic
nano-particles.
Thin, semi-transparent films produce 150-170 degree contact angles to
aqueous liquids. Uses include electro/optical-wetting devices,
microfluidics and apparatus for research and clinical diagnostic
devices.
FluoroPel
thixotropic inks
are screen printable coatings, available in many colors, currently used
in manufacturing immunological diagnostic microscope slides and
microarray plates worldwide.

-
PFOA and PFOS are not used in the manufacture of
Cytonix products. FluorAcryl, FluoroPel, FluoroSyl, Fluorothane and
FluorN are manufactured using telomer and perfluoropolyether chemistry.
