FluorN™family of Perfluoro-Polyether (PFPE) and Perfluoro-Alkyl fuorosurfactants
FluorN™ is a family of Perfluoro-Polyether (PFPE) and Perfluoro-Alkyl fuorosurfactants used as dispersing, wetting and leveling agents. These surfactants are also used as hydrophobic and oleophobic additives for resins and plastics.

FluorN 474 is an acrylate functional, high fluorine content fluorosurfactant compatible with many resin systems.

FluorN 489 is a methacrylate functional, high fluorine content fluorosurfactant compatible with many resin systems.

FluorN 1017 is a 100% solids di-hydroxy perfluoropolyether (PFPE) surfactant compatible with many urethanes, anhydrides and epoxies. Adds lubricity, repellency, weather resistance.

FluorN 1939A is a highly active 100% solids perfluoropolyether caprolactone diacrylate that is compatible with most polar formulations. Cationic cure; adds lubricity, repellency, weather resistance.

FluorN 1970A is a highly active 100% solids perfluoropolyether glycol diacrylate that is compatible with most polar formulations. Adds lubricity, repellency, weather resistance [PRODUCT IN DEVELOPMENT].

FluorN 2592 is a highly active polyperfluoroether stearate SPS block polymer surfactant that is compatible with many non-polar formulations. At concentrations of 0.0005 to 0.05 percent, the polymer has good surfactant, leveling and wetting activity. Adds lubricity and hydrophobicity at higher concentrations [PRODUCT IN DEVELOPMENT].

FluorN 561 is a 100% solids, non-reactive, high fluorine content, ethylene glycol based polymeric fluorosurfactant compatible with most polar solvent based inks, coatings, resists and emulsions. This is a replacement for Fluorad FC430 or FC171.

FluorN 562
is a 100% solids, non-reactive, ethylene glycol based polymeric fluorosurfactant compatible with most polar solvent based inks, coatings, resists and emulsions.

FluorN 712 is a high molecular weight perfluoroalkyl stearate surfactant. At concentrations of 0.25 to 1%, FluorN 712 adds hydrophobic and oleophobic properties to polyolefins and other plastics. FluorN 712 is an injection molding hydrophobic and oleophobic melt additive for plastic.

FluorN 659 is a low molecular weight perfluoroalkyl stearate surfactant. At concentrations of 0.25 to 1%, FluorN 659 adds hydrophobic and oleophobic properties to polyolefins and other plastics. FluorN 659 is an injection molding hydrophobic and oleophobic melt additive for plastic. FluorN 659 at 1% concentration is currently used to injection mold low retention plastic pipette tips.

FluorN 1788 is a 100% solids perfluoropolyether diisocyanate that moisture cures or can be formulated as a 2-part urethane to form clear, low refractive index, lubricious hydrophobic and oleophobic surfaces.

FluorN 2017
is a 100% solids tetra-hydroxy perfluoropolyether (PFPE) surfactant compatible with many urethanes, anhydrides and epoxies.

FluorN 2900N is a 100% solids perfluoropolyether glycol (550) GFG block polymer surfactant. Soluble in water and polar solvents, with PFPE to glycol ratio of about 3:1. This adds lubricity and water resistance to coatings.

FluorN 1992 is a highly active polyperfluoroether stearate polymer surfactant that is compatible with many non-polar formulations. At concentrations of 0.0005 to 0.05%, the polymer has good surfactant, leveling and wetting activity. At concentrations of 0.25 to 1%, FluorN 1992 adds hydrophobic and oleophobic properties to polyolefins and other plastics. FluorN 1992 is an injection molding hydrophobic and oleophobic melt additive for plastic. FluorN 1992 at 1% concentration is currently used to injection mold low retention plastic pipette tips.

FluorN 20158M is a 40% solids, non-reactive, non-ionic, high fluorine content, decane-based polymeric fluorosurfactant compatible with many non-polar systems. At low concentrations it is miscible with most non-polar solvents, is insoluble in water and forms an air interface with very low surface energy. This is also a foaming agent that may be used to replace Fluorad FC740.

FluorN 1740 is a 40% solids, non-reactive, non-ionic, high fluorine content, isopar-based polymeric fluorosurfactant compatible with many non-polar systems. At low concentrations it is miscible with most non-polar solvents, is insoluble in water and forms an air interface with very low surface energy. 1740 is a leveling agent in oil-based coatings and is also a foaming agent. This may replace Fluorad FC740.
